Job Summary
Power Fashion Springs Avenue (Gauteng) is hiring an Assistant Store Manager. You’ll step in for the Store Manager when they’re absent and help keep company standards in housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline, and security.
Main duties
- Relieve the Store Manager and help manage staff
- Bank money and oversee the cash office
- Make sure front-end controls are in place
- Minimise stock loss and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Introduce sales initiatives to reach store targets
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (Maths an advantage) or NQF Level 4
- Previous experience managing people and a department
- Clothing retail experience highly advantageous
- Strong communication, admin, organisational, and planning skills
- Leadership, decision-making, and the ability to maintain productivity
- Ethical, honest, proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
