This skills programme is designed for young people with no prior work experience, equipping them with foundational skills for a career in retail. The programme runs for seven weeks in total — three weeks of theoretical training followed by four weeks of hands-on, in-store practical experience. Those who complete the programme successfully will be awarded an NQF Level 2 certificate.
WHO CAN APPLY?
South African youth aged between 18 and 34. No previous work experience is needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a minimum of a Grade 10 pass (or equivalent) in South Africa, although having a matric qualification will count in the applicant’s favor.
