Minimum Requirements:
- A National Diploma in Graphic Design or an equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic design (a portfolio of previous work is required)
- Working knowledge of web design
Core Responsibilities:
- Create art and layout designs for a range of visual communication materials, including books, magazines, newspapers, television, electronic media, web pages, and packaging
- Take part in design projects from initial concept through to final delivery
- Ensure that all in-house design work meets established graphic design quality standards
- Apply the corporate identity correctly and consistently, in line with the corporate identity manual
- Capture, transcribe, enhance, and maintain information in written or electronic form, in line with governance and legislative requirements
- Follow established standards, policies, and standard operating procedures to minimize financial wastage and flag related risks where necessary
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to support effective cross-functional collaboration and service delivery
