Department of Roads and Transport
Requirements:
- AET or an equivalent qualification. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team. Familiarity with standard work procedures relevant to the working environment. Basic numeracy skills alongside good communication abilities.
Duties:
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of premises and surrounding areas by performing routine gardening tasks, including watering, pruning and trimming flowers and trees, mowing lawns, removing weeds and garden waste, and applying insecticides. Prepare and cultivate soil for planting trees and flowers. Keep gardening tools and equipment in good working condition, monitoring their use and reporting any faults or malfunctions. Carry out minor repairs to gardening equipment and tools as needed.
